5TH GRADE PHOTOS
5th grade was unique. The fall of 1962. Girls and Boys
develop first serious crushes. Social groups begin to form.
Clothing brands and styles start becoming very important.
(I told current high school age students that LEVIS were
#1, #2, and #3 in America and if you were a guy--you had to be
wearing a skin tight pair with a little white tag--they
just laughed as they now wear their super-baggy Dickies.)
And most important--MUSIC starts becoming very important
to all of us tuned into WLS--with a transistor radio under our
pillows late at night.
